What To Expect

Most adults come to one of our main worship services either on Sunday morning or Sunday evening. Our services start with special music from our choir, followed by several worship songs that everyone sings. You will also hear solos, ensembles, quartets, etc. depending on the occasion. This is followed by a helpful, challenging message delivered by our Senior Pastor, Dan Callaghan. The whole service is a just over an hour long.

For those interested, there are classes available for all ages at 9:45 AM. These classes are smaller in group size where you can meet and get to know other Christians. Coffee and donuts are served before each class. The topics and lessons are relevant to each age group and are very helpful.

There is no dress code here at First Baptist. However, most of our staff and workers dress in "traditional" Sunday attire. Also, you do not have to participate in our offerings. We provide our worship service as a gift to you and our community. We hope the service and music speaks to your heart and help you on your spiritual journey.

Children

Where do I take my children?
We have a nursery available for infants and toddlers. We have friendly and trained workers that run our nursery. They will notify you if an issue arises, and you can always check in on them if needed.

For younger children up to 6th grade, we have classes available at 9:45 AM, before the service starts. Each one is divided by age group and is taught by their own teacher. During the service, there is a children's program on the 2nd floor that they can attend. It is catered to younger children and are filled with games, songs, and a Bible lesson.

Teens

What programs are available for my teens?
Our church youth group is comprised of fun and spirit-filled teens. Our youth pastor, Stephen Baumgartner, runs our teen department where your children can make new friends and learn more about the Bible. Our teen program starts at 9:45 AM and is located on the 2nd floor of our building. We also have activities every month where your child can go to have fun and develop friendships.

A couple times every year, our youth go to bigger events. Some of these include going to missions trips, summer camp, and conferences. We also have activities to theme parks and sports games. However, our main focus is to have an environment where your teen can grow spiritually.
